A Modern Approach: The Art of the 20th Century Masters

Exhibition on display through October 14th

The advent of the 20th century brought with it tremendous changes that affected all aspects of life. In the realm of art, new forms of expression took hold that dramatically altered the type of imagery that was considered acceptable. The move toward abstraction focused the viewer’s eye on the beauty of pure line, texture and color. Whether subject matter that was more traditional or purely abstract, these 20th century artists were masters of the modern esthetic. In our special exhibition, we are featuring works by six of the most celebrated visionaries of their time.

Featuring:
Joan Miró
Pablo Picasso
Marc Chagall
Henri Matisse
Wassily Kandinsky
Salvador Dalí
