Original aquatint, lift-ground etching and aquatint printed in two colors (red, black) from 2 runs from 2 copper plates on Georges Duchene Hawthorne of Larroque handmade paper.

Hand-signed in pencil in the margin lower right Motherwell.

A superb impression of the definitive state, from the edition of 70, numbered in pencil also in the margin lower right (there were at least 14 additional proofs of various types). Published by the artist, bearing his blindstamp in the sheet lower right; released by Tyler Graphics Ltd., Bedford Village, New York; printed by Catherine Mosley at the artist’s studio, Greenwich, Connecticut.
