A superb impression of the definitive state, from the edition of 100 on this paper, numbered in pencil in the margin lower left (apart from the edition of 250 on Arches wove paper). One of two works by Dalí commissioned as illustrations to accompany text by various authors from the album Les Rois Mages (“The Magi Kings,” additional works were contributed by Hans Bellmer, Jean Cocteau, Leonor Fini, Johnny Friedlaender and Enrique Perez). Published by Pierre Argillet, Paris; printed by Georges Leblanc and Andre Moret.
