Each is superb impression of the Rennert/Weill’s original published version, before the addition of any text to the stones (there were five variants which followed the original version), from the edition published, printed and distributed by F. Champenois, Paris, 1896.

Each sheet with minor unobtrusive repairs, otherwise in excellent condition, with strong colors, printed on sheets with wide margins, linen backed.

One of Mucha’s most endearing and enduring sets.  The idea of personifying the four seasons was nothing new – the printer Champenois had done it before with other artist’s – but Mucha breathed so much more life into his project that this became one of the best selling sets of decorative panels produced during his entire career.
