This etching is from the last book illustrated by Picasso to be published during the artist’s lifetime. It’s author, Jean Leymarie, the director of the Musée National d’Art Moderne, had organized a large exhibition in “Hommage à Picasso” at both the Grand Palais and Petit Palais in Paris in 1966.
