According to Delteil, this lithograph, which was reproduced with illustrations by Hermann Paul and Pierre Bonnard in L’Escarmouche, No. 5 on December 10, 1893, depicts the artist’s father, Count Alphonse de Toulouse-Lautrec, in the foreground, and on his right the lithographer Joseph Albert.
