Original drypoint printed in black ink on cream laid paper bearing the “Pellet et Legrand surmounted by a Swan and Fleur-de-lys” watermark.

Hand signed in pencil lower right Louis Legrand, also signed in the plate upper right.

A fine impression of the definitive state. From the edition of 65, showing rich burr, numbered “61/GP” in pencil also lower right (apart from the edition of 30 printed prior to the reduction of the plate and the removal of the remarque). One of eight plates from the album Les Bars, published by Gustave Pellet, Paris, with his monogram stamp [Lugt 1193] in red ink at the lower right corner of the plate.
