For the firm of Moët & Chandon, a wine distributor famous for fine grades of champagne, Mucha executed a number of designs which were used on menus, postcards and other publicity connected with this company.  Two of his assignments were for posters; one of them, the lithograph described here, was used to advertise their Grand Crémant Imperial.
